For each campus, Blueprint hires its own skilled crew of directors, teachers, resident advisers and medical staff.

Directors

Our directors oversee all aspects of program life and ensure that each student has the opportunity to become an active member of the community. The majority of our directors have served as administrators in various capacities for several years. They are selected based on their unique ability to make sure every student feels welcome and safe.

Teachers

Courses are taught by partner-school faculty, gifted teachers and talented professionals. We recruit only the brightest and most passionate teachers to connect with our students. More than just administrators, our teachers serve as mentors to our students. They are caring and committed, and convey the rich rewards of learning to their students.

Resident Advisers

Our resident advisers act as big brothers and sisters to students while they're away from home. Resident advisers live alongside the students, coaching students on community living and college life. They help students acclimate to new settings and guide them through little challenges along the way.

Founders

Friends since elementary school, Justin and Michael have created popular summer programs for colleges and universities across the country.

Justin Laman

After receiving a degree in Journalism from the University of Georgia, Justin enjoyed a successful career as a journalist. In 2003, he decided to take up his family's tradition of working in education and began running summer programs for colleges and secondary schools up and down the east coast. In 2007 he founded Blueprint Admissions with Michael.

Michael Dodson

Michael started developing summer programs in 2005, after working as an options trader at the New York Board of Trade. Michael has a degree in Political Science from Emory University, and studied in both Italy and Egypt. He and his wife now live in Brooklyn, New York.
